One of my favorite foods is sushi so, naturally, I was excited to hear about Azuma Sushi Bistro’s expansion in Malta. As an Ambassador for the Capital Region Chamber, I get to attend a lot of ribbon cuttings in the area and, since Malta is just a short drive from my Clifton Park office, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to drop in on their ribbon cutting party.
I must say that this was one of the more fun ribbon cuttings that I’ve been a part of!! It’s the first one that had confetti cannons and a free hibachi lunch!
Just before COVID, I celebrated their grand opening with them and the sushi was amazing. I had ordered from them a few times during the pandemic but I hadn’t been inside since their original grand opening ribbon cutting party.
When I arrived this time, I was blown away by the expansion. They doubled the size of their restaurant by adding 8 hibachi tables and an outdoor patio! We were treated to a masterful hibachi demonstration and the food was fantastic. If you haven’t checked out Azuma Sushi Bistro recently, I recommend you do.
